Last October 27, Universitas started its chapter in Europe with the new Officers for its International Linkages (OIL). The meeting was convened by the CEO, Atty. Oliver Tuazon, the Project Development Officer and OIL for Poland, Mr. Bino Socrates, and the new OILs, Mr. Frank Janssen for The Netherlands, and Ms. Kelly Vrijens for Belgium. It was held at the house of Kelly Vrijens.
During the meeting, the CEO brought up the possible projects in Europe, as well as possible collaborations between the Philippine and European chapters.
The first project would be the Principled Leadership Course (PLC), which is the foundational course for Universitas Foundation. It will be held on 22 December in Maastricht, The Netherlands. To know more about the PLC, you may refer to this article about the Universitas Leadership Program.

– THE OILS –
Ms. Kelly Vrijens is a 2nd year student of European Public Health at Maastricht University. She won the National EF Challenge Sustainable Development Speech in 2018. She is a member of World Youth Alliance, and she enjoys attending leadership programs and doing volunteer work.
Mr. Frank Janssen is a Private first class for the Royal Netherlands Army, and is currently finishing his Double degree program in History and in Law at Utrecht University. He is involved in various student organizations pertaining to history, politics, and law, and other volunteer programs.
Mr. Bino Socrates is the Project Development Officer, and currently serves as the OIL for Poland. He is currently doing his MA in Philosophy at the Catholic University of Lublin.
