“I am very grateful to be part of the beginnings of Universitas during my university years.  Participating and collaborating with the activities of Universitas helped me to open up new horizons and adventures in the service of the others.  From this experience I learned that one’s studies and profession are not just a matter of being successful but also of learning the virtues in order to serve better the society.”

Fr. Alfred got in contact with Universitas during his first year as an Architecture student at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He used to be in-charge of the Social Outreach Arm of the organization, with Project Forge, a Math-English-Values tutorial system for public school children, as its key project. After passing the Architecture board exam, he worked for some years in Asian Architects. He then did further studies in Theology at the University of Navarre in Spain and graduate studies in Philosophy at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, where he was ordained as a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei in 2018.
