JUBERT MAQUILING

Jubert is the Chief Media Officer of Universitas. He has had over 20 years of experience in solutions design and delivery in different capacities, over a decade of which involved direct/indirect management of technology projects in the banking and finance industry in the Philippines, Asia Pacific and other parts of the globe, focusing mostly on the last mile technologies serving the un-banked. At present, he is working on cloud transformation of projects of one of the major banks in the country. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management (Double Major) at the University of the Philippines. He has a Masters degree in Information Technology from the University of St. La Salle, and has completed the Executive Education program of The Wharton School. He is excited about things that help make the world a better place to live in.

MARY GRACE CRUZ

Mary Grace or MG for short is the Deputy Media Officer of Universitas Foundation. She graduated with a degree in AB Integrated Marketing Communications at the University of Asia and the Pacific in 2019. As young as a high school student, she had been a Camp Counselor for PATHFINDER Leadership Camp for girls for three years. In her university life, she gained most of her leadership experience from volunteering, organizing and co-heading projects as a Management Trainee and AVP for Research and Evaluation for CATALYST of UA&P.

FRANCIS DAVID PEREZ

Francis is a Media Officer  of the Universitas Foundation. A graduating student taking up Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the University of Santo Tomas, he previously volunteered as a Mentor in his alma mater PAREF Northfield School for Boys. He was also a counselor for the FORGE Summer Camp organized by Lantaka and Molave Study Centers for two years, and the former editor-in-chief and online editor of FORTIBUS, his high school’s award-winning student publication. He currently serves as the Social Media Manager of Sarangani Study Center and volunteers for teaching virtue and catechism classes.

JUAN PABLO SOCRATES

JP is the Content Manager for the Universitas website. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Art Studies from the University of the Philippines. Currently, he is a law student at the UP College of Law – BGC Campus. During his undergraduate years, he was part of two student organizations, UP Palaweños and UP ASTERISK.

ZION YUSON

A holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Asia and the Pacific, Zion is the current Office Manager of Universitas and a member of the Documentation, Support, and Logistics Team, as well as the Media, Marketing and Communications Team. Apart from these, he is also the project manager of the monthly event, the Universitas Fellows Night. He was part of the UA&P Chorale, where he was also the former president. Among his hobbies are film photography and playing football.
